Puagame 13 – Concert

Puagme 13 has built up a reputation for being Stockholm’s best kept secret.

The band mixes music from different parts of Ethiopia and uses traditional instruments such as kirar (a kind of lyre), washint (flute) and kebero (drums). The instruments are amplified and arranged in a modern style. Together, the music creates a multifaceted image of Ethiopia’s rich musical heritage.

It will be very difficult to stand still when Puagame 13 takes over Lifeful Festrival. Live, Puagme 13 delivers an explosive mix of music and dance in the Ethiopian party tradition. The music is traditional with elements of swinging funk.
